The race course is relatively short – go as fast or slow as you want\, all competitive levels are encouraged to join in the fun. DESCRIPTION:Our annual Dean Lake boat parade is Thursday July 4th at 4 o’clock. The theme is “Anything Goes” so decorate as you please.\n\nPeople in the parade put a lot of time and effort into decorating their boats for the parade\, so we have a few guidelines this year that we hope everyone will follow.\n\nStarting at the Island\, the boat parade will do at least one complete loop around the lake so everyone can view the boats\, and our judges can review and submit their votes for the best decoration.\nThe water fights are very popular\, but we are asking to hold off until everybody makes it around the lake one time so the boats can be judged\, and so the decorations aren’t messed up by incoming water balloons and the like.\nThere are some boat parade participants who do not want to be in the water fights\, so please be respectful of these boats.\nEveryone on shore throwing and spraying water – please allow the parade to do a complete lap before joining in.
